THE govemmeni ssked farmers m produce
more meat, more milk, more poultry, more eggs,
more vegetables. Farmers axe doing their patriotic
best in the face of an acute labor ~hortage, rising cost
of necessary supplies, inadequate fans prices, and
other diflicuhies.
It is good husis~s ~ ,al times, a~ esltuw/alt/~t
wartime, to keep your cooperative in position to ten-
der the most effective service. Do your part to see
that it has adequate capital Comzibut your patron-
age and do it voluntarily to keep down costs. Give
your cooperative your aggressive moral support. See
to it that seltlsh, monopoly-seeking imerLsts do ~ot
secure unfair legislation harmiul to faxmer-ownmi
and farmer-controlled cooperative restitutions.
