Colored Men From County Called For Induction On Nov. 27th The Local Board of Jefferson County reports that Orders to Report for Induction have been mailed to the following list of Colored men. These Selectees will assemble at the offices of the Local Board in the Mason Building in Charlcsl Town on the morning of November 27th and proceed by bus and train to Clarksburg, W. Va., where they will be given their final physical examination before being inducted in the army of the United States. This is the largest group of men called at any one time from Jefferson County, since the SelectiVe Service Act Was passed in 1940.
